Nothing To Apologize For
Just because you have a disability doesn't mean you need to apologize to the person giving you support, especially if something out of the ordinary happens.
You don't have to ever apologize for needing things to be accessible, especially when you go places where your voice needs to be heard.
Never apologize for having a real and authentic conversation because that could change minds and change policies.
Sometimes when we fight for things we believe in, we are going to ruffle some feathers and that is ok. Never apologize for bringing awareness to something, even if it takes a decade to do so. Change can be slow but it's necessary to shake up the status quo.
Mostly, never apologize for being the person you are. Believe me, you have a purpose.
